THE COURSE: MANY DIFFERING PATHS AND GOALS
The course of study at the Priest Seminary serves the training of priests for the Christian Community. However, the path of training can also be of interest to anyone who would like to deepen their relationship to the spiritual world and wishes to gain more conviction and to experience the significance of a religious way of life. Even when you do not have a clear aim to become a priest, you are nevertheless still welcome to join the course at the Seminary.
THE COURSE AS A PRIEST TRAINING
The course of study at the Priest Seminary prepares the way towards ordination and towards the profession of the priesthood within a congregation of the Christian Community. The tasks of the priest are the celebration of the sacraments, pastoral or 'soul' care, and the proclamation of Christianity.
“How a calling arose through my search for meaning”
Johannes Beurle, who was ordained as a priest on 24th February 2013, writes about his personal experience.
THE COURSE AS DEVELOPMENT OF THE HUMAN BEING
What does it mean to be a human being today, striving for freedom on the one hand, whilst at the same time also remaining awake to one's responsibility to the spiritual world? Studying at the Priest Seminary is also about living with such questions, regardless of which profession one eventually decides upon.
“MY DECISION TO GO TO THE SEMINARY”
