OTHER THINGS THAT ARE GOING ON AT THE SEMINARY …
The Orientation Week offers people, who are interested in the course at the Seminary, an insight into what is going on during life at the Seminary. For those between 17 and about 45 years of age there is the possibility of getting to know the courses, the path of training and the general daily life of the Seminary.
A summer course open to the public takes place usually in July. Those interested have the opportunity to occupy themselves intensively with a given theme for a week. In 2015 for example the theme was 'The Trinity – in Nature, in the Bible and in the Creed'.
Seminar Evenings take place regularly at the Priest Seminary. Individuals from various realms of life, who have occupied themselves with particular contemporary issues, are invited to present aspects of their work. Recent themes included Organ Transplantation (Dr. Paolo Bavastro), Economy (Prof. Dr. Christian Kreiß), The Favela Monte Azul (Ute Craemer) and Depression (Dr. Hartwig Volbehr).
The Priest Seminary is also involved in a number of activities within campus A (“campus anthroposophy”, www.campusa.de), a free association of anthroposophical training centres. These include regular workshops, meetings, artistic evenings, festivals, etc.
